“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you…” Matthew 7:7 (KJV)
Welcome to St Jude’s! We are a long-established traditional Anglican community which has come together to worship God since 1887, using the Book of Common Prayer.
The congregation continues to make itself and its resources available to the community as part of its Gospel witness to the world. We value sincere openness to the spirit of enquiry within a community that believes in ‘belief by belonging’ and one which welcomes the doubter, the seeker, and the stranger as equally as the familiar and committed.
As a church, we are able and very happy to mark and celebrate the punctuating milestones Christian life, and would be happy to take enquiries and talk with you about baptisms for you or your child, confirmations, weddings, funerals, and memorials/commemorations.
Families are very welcome at St Jude’s. There is a children’s room full of books, videos, and activities where children can play.

We have good relationships with various organisations and other churches in the local area.
You can follow what is going on at St Jude’s via Instagram and X.
If you require a wheelchair while attending church, we are happy to provide one for you.
