The Rt. Rev Dr. Mark Gretason DD AKC & Bishop
Bishop Mark is the Rector of St. Jude’s Church, Balham. He was educated at King’s School Worcester (where he was a chorister in the Cathedral Choir) and at King’s College, London. +Mark was ordained in 1986 as before becoming Rector in 1988.
He is a barrister and lectured in Laws at university for many years. His hobbies include cooking, church music and gardening.
In June 2025, +Mark was consecrated bishop and serves as Assistant Bishop for the Southern Diocese.+Mark can be contacted here:

The Rev Andrew Ormond MA Assistant Minister, Deacon
Andrew is an assistant minister at St Jude’s. He was ordained to the diaconate in November 2024 after serving as a Licensed Reader for the church from November 2023.
At university, he read theology – finishing in 2016 – and also completed a Master’s degree in 2022 before moving to London to work in the Civil Service.
Andrew enjoys reading, writing fiction, archery, and long walks.
